Monaco’s own Olivia Dorato has secured her place in music history as part of The World Album, an unprecedented project that unites artists from every nation on Earth. The 27-year-old singer-songwriter, signed to Universal Music France, represents the Principality with her vibrant track Boum Boum.
Released today, The World Album – International Artists Project spans 200 songs in 93 languages, weaving together 121 musical genres over 12.5 hours of music. Spearheaded by American producer Brandon Beckwith, the project’s mission is as ambitious as its scope: to capture the world’s cultural heartbeat through a single record.
Dorato’s Boum Boum infuses Afrobeat rhythms with Mediterranean flair, creating a sound that is both modern and unmistakably Monaco. With its sun-soaked energy and elegant pop sensibility, the track reflects the Principality’s unique blend of glamour and cosmopolitan spirit.
The album is already making waves, having been submitted for consideration in the Best Global Music Album category at the 2026 GRAMMYs. Three Guinness World Record attempts are pending, including recognition as the largest collaborative music project ever produced. Beyond accolades, the initiative has a philanthropic edge: artists keep full ownership of their work while being encouraged to donate part of their proceeds to charitable causes.
With Olivia Dorato’s contribution, Monaco’s voice resonates on a global stage—proof that even the world’s second-smallest country can make a big sound.
