As part of his introductory tour of key institutions, Monaco’s newly appointed Minister of State, Christophe Mirmand, paid an official visit to Monaco Town Hall today.
Accompanied by Interior Minister Lionel Beffre, Secretary-General of the Government Marc Vassalo, and his Chief of Staff Elodie Kheng, Mr Mirmand was warmly welcomed by Mayor Georges Marsan, alongside Deputy Mayors Camille Svara and Marjorie Crovetto, as well as Town Hall Secretary-General Isabelle Costa.
The visit included a tour of several emblematic municipal sites, including the Marriage Hall, the Civil Status and Nationality Office, and the Council Chamber. The delegation then gathered in the Mayor’s office for a working meeting.
Discussions focused on several major projects shaping Monaco’s future, including the upcoming openings of the Caroline Media Library and a new performance hall, the reopening of the Exotic Garden, renovations at the Condamine Market, ongoing works at the cemetery, and the much-anticipated return of the ice rink to Stade Nautique Rainier III.
This visit marks an early step in strengthening cooperation between the State and the Commune, with shared priorities aimed at enhancing the Principality’s cultural, recreational, and civic life.
