The Théâtre Princesse Grace has unveiled its 2025–2026 season, promising a rich and ambitious line-up of 28 shows, including three special performances at the Grimaldi Forum…
Director Françoise Gamerdinger announced a programme blending classics, contemporary works, and star-studded casts.
Highlights include a powerful reimagining of Bérénice by Guy Cassiers with the Comédie-Française, a modern, socially resonant Le Mariage de Figaro directed by Léna Bréban, and Édouard Baer embodying Cyrano de Bergerac in a poetic rendition. La Vérité by Florian Zeller will bring together Stéphane De Groodt, Clotilde Courau, Sylvie Testud, and Sébastien Facco, while Carlo Goldoni’s La Veuve rusée features Caterina Murino, Sarah Biasini, Tom Leeb, and Pierre Rochefort.
The season welcomes renowned performers such as Stéphane Guillon and Jean-Pierre Darroussin in Inconnu à cette adresse, Patrick Timsit and François-Xavier Demaison in La Famille, and Clovis Cornillac in Dans les yeux de Monet. Notable Molière-winning plays include 4211 KM, C’est pas facile d’être heureux quand on va mal, Les Liaisons dangereuses with Delphine Depardieu, and Du charbon dans les veines, awarded five Molières in 2025.
Emerging talents also take centre stage, with stand-ups from Panayotis Pascot and Paul Taylor, the innovative Lumière !, and Je suis trop vert, an eco-focused comedy for young audiences. Contemporary pieces like Personne n’est ensemble sauf moi and La tour de Constance will further enrich the season.
Theatre Princess Grace will continue its partnership with Les Rencontres Philosophiques de Monaco, hosting workshops and the annual Philo Monaco week. Subscriptions open from 7 July, with single tickets available from 1 September. For the full programme visit www.tpgmonaco.mc.
