CFM Indosuez Wealth Management has announced a major leadership transition with the appointment of Bénédicte Chrétien as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2025, pending regulatory approval. The decision, taken by the Board of Directors on Tuesday, June 11, marks a strategic move for the Crédit Agricole Group’s Monaco-based wealth management arm.

Chrétien will take over from Mathieu Ferragut, who has spent more than six years steering the development of the group’s wealth management business in the Principality. Ferragut is set to step into a new role as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Indosuez, where he will oversee the Advisory, Financing and Coverage division.

Currently serving as Group Head of Human Resources and Executive Committee member at Crédit Agricole S.A., Chrétien brings over two decades of leadership experience in banking and finance, with deep expertise in both wealth and asset management. She has been a director at Indosuez Wealth Management since 2021, reinforcing her familiarity with the group’s international ambitions and client base.

In Monaco, where CFM Indosuez has had a presence since 1922, Chrétien will be tasked with advancing the firm’s strategic growth, particularly among international high-net-worth individuals. Her appointment signals continued momentum for the bank’s development in one of the world’s most competitive private banking environments.

Chrétien’s career began at Axa in 1992, with successive roles spanning HR, strategic acquisitions, and international development. She played a central role in globalising Axa Investment Managers before holding senior positions at Edmond de Rothschild and Crédit Agricole S.A. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Paris I University.
