The Institut Monégasque de Formation aux Professions Judiciaires (IMFPJ) has officially opened enrolment for its training programmes for the 2025–2026 judicial year, offering a range of legal education tailored to various professional needs.
Among the options is a 180-hour preparation course aimed at Monegasque candidates intending to sit the bar exam, the magistracy competition, or other legal profession entrance exams. This programme includes 60 hours of lectures, 120 hours of hands-on training, and a theatre workshop designed to enhance oral presentation skills—an essential component of oral exams.
A second programme, the professional certification course, offers 60 hours of instruction in Monegasque law, covering public and private law along with institutional culture. Open to all nationalities, this course is ideal for those seeking work in the legal field as clerks, legal assistants, notarial aides, bailiffs, or within the Direction des services judiciaires.
For professionals in the private sector who regularly interact with the justice system or require a foundational understanding of legal matters, a 20-hour introduction to Monegasque law is also available. This option is particularly relevant to translators, real estate agents, compliance officers, insurers, and technical experts.
Enrolment is open from 2 to 30 June 2025. Public officials or civil servants interested in any of the courses should contact the IMFPJ directly by email at imfpj@justice.mc. Full details on all programmes are available at imfpj.mc.
