The Société des Bains de Mer (SBM) has reported excellent results for the 2024–2025 financial year, marking the best performance in its history…
With revenue up nine percent to €768 million and a consolidated net profit of €110 million, SBM President Stéphane Valeri confirmed that “all the lights are green” for the group. Hotel and restaurant operations were among the strongest areas of growth, while the group’s real estate business posted an impressive €100 million in operating income. Valeri praised SBM’s 5,000 employees for their contribution to this success and highlighted a €1,800 performance bonus distributed to each staff member.
While the gaming sector saw a slight 3% dip in revenue, attributed partly to increased global compliance constraints, SBM’s diversification strategy continues to pay off. Hospitality revenues rose 16% overall, and the restaurant segment alone grew by 24%. Summer 2025 looks promising with several new projects and partnerships.
The Monte-Carlo Beach has been refreshed with new décor and programming, while a collaboration with fashion brand Jacquemus brings new energy through pop-up shops and a café. A Greek restaurant has opened at Maona, and Ibiza’s iconic “Jondal” will take over the panoramic spot at Le Vigie from 21 June.
Looking further ahead, SBM is expanding internationally with a major project in Courchevel. The new mountain hotel and chalet complex, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, will offer over 14,000 square metres of luxury space and is set to open in December 2027. A new private dining experience in the Hôtel de Paris wine cellars will also launch this June, inaugurated by His Serene Highness Prince Albert II.
