The Junior Economic Chamber (JCE) of Monaco has officially opened applications for the 30th edition of its long-running Business Creation Competition…

Since its inception in 1995, the initiative has supported the development of numerous now-established businesses in the Principality, including well-known ventures like Carlo and last year’s winner, Excel—a homework support centre. This annual competition is open to both brand-new projects and companies that have been operating for less than two years, including entrepreneurs based abroad looking to establish themselves in Monaco.

The competition offers a significant boost to aspiring business owners through three major prizes: €40,000 from the Monaco Government, €21,000 from the JCE itself, and €10,000 from partner ATOS. Beyond financial support, winners also gain valuable exposure, guidance, and access to the JCE’s professional network. As JCE President and the competition’s project lead explained, the goal is to help these young businesses flourish with the right support at the earliest stages of their development.

An important date in the calendar is June 17, when the JCE will host an open Q&A session at their headquarters from 4:30 p.m. for interested applicants. The final deadline for submissions is September 30. After this, a jury composed of local experts and members of the organising committee will review the applications, with winners announced at a dedicated event towards the end of the year. Budding entrepreneurs are encouraged to take this opportunity to kick-start their business journey in Monaco.
