Monaco has further strengthened its reputation as one of the safest places in the world with the inauguration of a new police station in the Jardin Exotique district...
Located at 95 Boulevard du Jardin Exotique, the newly constructed station is part of the larger “Upper West” urban development at the city’s entrance — a key point of access to the Principality and a strategic location for law enforcement.
Inaugurated on April 30 in the presence of Charlotte Casiraghi, the station spans 125 square metres and includes a reception office, rest room, technical facilities, and two holding cells. It is the 14th police post in the Principality and a clear symbol of Monaco’s long-standing commitment to public order and security.
Monaco’s police presence is not only highly visible but also highly effective. The Principality has one of the highest police-to-resident ratios in the world, with officers regularly stationed across neighbourhoods, at key intersections, and along the borders. This presence is both reassuring for residents and a major deterrent to crime.
“The location of this new post is particularly important,” noted a representative of Public Safety. “It strengthens our ability to monitor entry points to the city and respond quickly when needed. It also provides an accessible point of contact for citizens wishing to report incidents.”
With additional upgrades planned, including a future police post for the maritime and heliport zone, Monaco continues to invest in infrastructure that upholds its exceptional standards of public safety. The unveiling of the plaque by Charlotte Casiraghi and the raising of the Monegasque flag mark this new police station not just as a place of authority — but as a lasting emblem of the Principality’s vigilance and security.
