The Tennis Padel Club of Beausoleil is gearing up to host the elite of international padel from Friday, March 21 to Sunday, March 30, as the A1 Padel Tour rolls into town for its French leg. This marks the fifth stop of the 2025 season—and the first “Grand Master” event—on the professional circuit spearheaded by Monegasque entrepreneur Fabrice Pastor. The world’s top-ranked A1 Padel Tour players will battle it out in what promises to be a high-stakes showdown on the Côte d’Azur.

The A1 Padel Tour, one of several independent pro circuits in the fast-growing sport, features three tournament tiers: Open, Master, and the prestigious Grand Master. Beausoleil’s event, dubbed A1 Padel France 2025, is the latter—a top-tier clash with 48 teams vying for maximum ranking points, hefty prize money, and bragging rights. “It’s going to be an incredible show, intense yet welcoming,” said Cristina Pastor, tournament director and head of the host club, which is staging this event for the fourth time.

The Grand Master kicks off a busy season for the A1 Padel Tour, which has already made waves in Argentina earlier this year. Now, Beausoleil is set to draw huge crowds and cement its status as a padel hotspot. “Having these top athletes back year after year is a privilege,” Cristina Pastor said. “They feel at home here, and that trust pushes us to deliver a fierce, world-class competition.”

The tournament spans ten days, starting with the Round of 32 on March 21 and building to the final on March 30. Matches kick off daily between 9:00 and 11:00, with the quarterfinals split across March 26-28, semifinals on March 29, and the championship match capping the week. Entry is free all week, though the final weekend costs 10 euros, with tickets available here.

Adding to the excitement, a P500 tournament—a national event outside the A1 circuit—will jumpstart the festivities on March 20. The winning pair earns a wild card into the Grand Master’s main draw, offering French players a shot at the big leagues. “It’s more than a warm-up,” Pastor noted. “It’s a chance for local talent to face off against the best and boost France’s padel profile.”

With upgraded facilities and a packed schedule, the Tennis Padel Club of Beausoleil is ready to shine. “This event puts us on the map—for the players, the tour, and our club,” Pastor said. After Beausoleil, the A1 Padel Tour heads to Monaco this summer for another headline event, with details still under wraps. For now, all eyes are on March 21, when padel’s finest take the court for a week of unrelenting action.
