The first Government Council meeting of 2025 took place this morning, marked by the absence of Didier Guillaume, Minister of State, due to health reasons…

During the session, the Acting Minister expressed, on behalf of the entire government, their support and best wishes for Mr. Guillaume’s speedy recovery.

She also emphasised the honour bestowed upon her by the Sovereign to lead this interim period, reaffirming her commitment to ensuring the effective continuity of the institutions and the functioning of the State.

“The government is fully mobilized, each in their areas of expertise, to continue public action in the service of the Principality,” she stated, highlighting key priorities such as security, health, housing, public finances, and structural investments.

On the international front, the Acting Minister assured that efforts will continue to address the recommendations of the FATF and GRECO, in line with the work already carried out by Monaco’s public and private stakeholders.

She concluded by stressing that this interim period “is not a pause” in the Princely Government’s agenda but a phase to ensure stability and the implementation of the Sovereign’s defined policies.

The meeting continued with all government members present, each committed to serving the interests of the Principality.
