AS Monaco has announced the contract extension of head coach Adi Hütter, securing the Austrian manager’s services until June 30, 2027. This marks a significant vote of confidence in Hütter, who joined the club in July 2023 and has since impressed with his dynamic approach to the game.

Over the past 18 months, Hütter has guided Monaco through 60 matches, achieving nearly a 60 percent win rate. His philosophy of attacking football has fostered a blend of experienced players and emerging talents, with notable contributions from academy graduates such as Maghnes Akliouche, Eliesse Ben Seghir, and Soungoutou Magassa.

In his debut season, Hütter led Monaco to a remarkable second-place finish in Ligue 1, securing the club’s return to the Champions League—its eighth podium finish since 2013. The achievement was a major milestone for the Principality club, affirming its place among Europe’s elite.

This season, which marks the club’s centenary, Hütter has continued to build on Monaco’s strong foundation. As of the winter break, the team remains firmly in Ligue 1’s top three and is well-positioned to advance in the expanded Champions League format. Memorable victories over teams like Barcelona, Red Star Belgrade, and Bologna have further cemented Monaco’s competitive standing.

Hütter’s managerial journey includes notable successes before arriving in Monaco. He claimed the Austrian Bundesliga title with RB Salzburg in 2015, led Young Boys Bern to the Swiss Super League championship in 2018, and guided Eintracht Frankfurt to the Europa League semi-finals in 2019. These achievements underscore his ability to succeed across different leagues and challenges.

The extension of Hütter’s contract signals a shared ambition between the club and its coach to sustain and build upon recent success. With Ligue 1 and European challenges ahead, the Austrian manager is set to lead Monaco through an exciting new chapter.
