Monaco’s nightlife scene has been rejuvenated with the reopening of the legendary Moods, now reimagined as the New Moods. This cherished venue, a cornerstone of the Principality’s entertainment culture, has undergone a transformation that celebrates its rich history while embracing a vibrant new future.
Nestled beneath the iconic Place du Casino Monte-Carlo, the New Moods promises an intimate and welcoming setting where guests can gather to enjoy live performances, laugh, celebrate, and immerse themselves in the lively spirit of Monaco.
From 18:00 to 20:00, the venue offers a relaxed afterwork atmosphere with free entry. Guests can enjoy casual drinks and unwind to lounge music spun by a DJ. After 20:00, the venue transitions into its signature spectacle: live performances accompanied by fine food and drinks. Entry for the evening show requires a minimum spend of 50 euros, which covers both beverages and finger foods curated by renowned chef Marcel Ravin.
The evening’s entertainment includes two sets of live music, separated by a 15-20 minute intermission, providing an opportunity for guests to refresh and socialize. Once the concert concludes around 23:00, the night continues with curated music by a DJ to keep the festive energy alive.
On the reopening night, the New Moods proudly presents Call Me Winston – The Tarantino Tribute. This unique musical act, dedicated to recreating the iconic soundtracks of Quentin Tarantino films, has captivated audiences with over 30 performances across France and Monaco.
Having recently performed at Cannes to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pulp Fiction’s Palme d’Or, Call Me Winston features a dynamic ensemble of singers, guitarists, bassists, drummers, percussionists, keyboardists, and brass musicians. The band masterfully navigates genres, from Chuck Berry’s rockabilly and Kool & the Gang’s disco-funk to the soulful sounds of blaxploitation classics.
The performance is a journey through Tarantino’s cinematic universe, offering something for everyone—whether you’re a fan of the legendary director or simply a lover of electrifying live concerts with a dynamic big band.
