Nearly 400 fans gathered on Sunday, December 8 at the Christmas Village in Monaco for the seventh stage of the Kids Tour, an event marked by the special appearances of AS Monaco players Krépin Diatta and Denis Zakaria.

The Red & White caravan made its third stop at the Monaco Christmas Village since the initiative began in 2022. Following last year’s visit by Caio Henrique, this year’s highlight was the presence of Senegalese international Krépin Diatta, who delighted young fans by joining the festivities.

Port Hercule, adorned in AS Monaco’s iconic red and white, came alive with scarves, jerseys, and the winter sun reflecting off the festive decorations. The air was filled with the aroma of cinnamon and holiday cheer as fans of all ages participated in games and activities. From trivia about the Club du Rocher’s storied history to a giant target game, the event created a joyous and inclusive atmosphere.

Diatta, who has made 105 appearances for AS Monaco, was the star of the day, eagerly taking selfies and signing autographs. Speaking about the experience, the number 27 said: “I know these moments; I lived them when I was younger. I know what they mean to the fans. It makes me very, very happy to be here and to meet them. I can’t wait to see them again at the stadium, cheering us on as always.” His heartfelt message concluded with a rousing “Daghe Munegu!”

The excitement didn’t end there. Fans were thrilled by the surprise appearance of AS Monaco captain Denis Zakaria, whose arrival added to the day’s festive energy. Having recently participated in the Kids Tour in La Turbie, Zakaria once again took time to connect with supporters, posing for photos and signing autographs to the delight of the crowd.

With the holiday season in full swing, the Kids Tour brought joy and unity to the Monaco community. After a brief pause for the year-end celebrations, the tour will resume on Wednesday, January 8 in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, continuing its mission to engage and inspire the next generation of football fans.
