In a collaborative effort to combat school bullying, the Women World Leaders Monaco (FLMM) and the Association for Assistance to Victims of Criminal Offences (AVIP), with support from Monaco’s Directorate of National Education, Youth and Sports, and the Department of the Interior, launched the “Protect Yourself Against Harassment in Schools” initiative. Throughout November, this project engaged nearly 100 middle and high school students across Monaco, using art as a transformative tool for awareness, prevention, and emotional expression.

The initiative, aligned with the National Day Against Harassment in Schools, featured four renowned artists—INESSA, Patrick Moya, MR OneTeas, and BELI—who conducted workshops in four schools: Collège François d’Assise-Nicolas Barré, Collège Charles III, Lycée Albert Ier, and Lycée Rainier III.

The workshops allowed students to confront the issue of bullying through creative expression. Activities included symbolic mask-making, collaborative murals, and artworks that highlighted themes of resilience, community, and acceptance. Each session emphasised the role of empathy and solidarity in addressing bullying, culminating in powerful pieces that will remain displayed at the respective schools.

Minister of State Didier Guillaume commended the initiative, describing it as “a virtuous circle of education and collaboration” that empowers students to address bullying through dialogue and creativity. An upcoming art book, featuring the four frescoes and accompanying texts from Monaco’s Pen Club, will expand the reach of the project and promote its message of respect, love, and solidarity to a broader audience.
