HSH Prince Albert honoured the winners of the 8th E-Rallye Monte-Carlo, Eneko Conde and Lukas Sergnese, who claimed victory on the rainy roads of the Alpes-Maritimes. Driving a Kia EV6 GT, Conde and Sergnese achieved a historic milestone, becoming the first team to secure back-to-back wins since the rally’s inception in 2016. Their performance was praised for its consistency over three days, exemplifying excellence in electric rallying.

The Spaniards were joined on the podium by Olivier Campana and Nicolas Milanesio in a BMW i4 representing the Yacht Club de Monaco, who claimed second place, and Belgian team Michel Decremer and Jennifer Hugo in a VW ID3, who took third. Prince Albert’s niece, Camille Gottlieb, and her co-driver Margaux Grundstein, proudly won the Enliten FIA Energy Performance Bridgestone Trophy for their energy efficiency with a Volvo C40.
Despite challenging weather, which prompted the cancellation of the final stages for safety, the rally showcased the latest advancements in electric vehicle technology. Covering 250 to 300 kilometres per day without recharging, the cars demonstrated impressive improvements in range and efficiency. With 40 models from 18 manufacturers on display, the rally attracted a large audience eager to witness the strides in EV autonomy.
The 8th E-Rallye Monte-Carlo, held against a backdrop of growing interest in electric vehicles across Europe, underscored the market’s positive momentum, with France seeing a 6 percent rise in EV adoption this year. The rally not only celebrated champions but highlighted the dynamic advancements in electric mobility, setting the stage for a more sustainable future.
