Six food establishments in Monaco-Ville were the focus of a coordinated inspection led by Monaco’s Public Safety Department on Friday, September 27, alongside agents from the Labor Department and Health Action Department. The operation, overseen by the Monaco Public Prosecutor’s Office, aimed to ensure compliance with regulations following previous administrative closures for some of the businesses.

In a statement on Monday, September 30, the public prosecutor provided an update on the findings: five establishments were found to have violated labor laws, had expired products, or stored food at improper temperatures.

Expired or poorly stored items were immediately destroyed, and official reports were filed. A preliminary investigation into violations of the Food Safety Act is now underway, led by the Public Security Service.
