Isabelle Berro-Amadei, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation for Monaco, hosted a luncheon at the Hôtel Hermitage to welcome newly accredited ambassadors to the Principality on Wednesday, September 18. The event honoured four distinguished diplomats: H.E. Jorge Luis Jure Arnoletti of Uruguay, H.E. Hernando Alfonso Prada Gil of Colombia, H.E. Monsignor Martin Krebs, Apostolic Nuncio, and H.E. Guilhermina Prata of Angola. Earlier in the day, these ambassadors presented their credentials to H.S.H. Prince Albert II.

H.E. Jorge Luis Jure Arnoletti, with a diplomatic career starting in 1978, has held significant positions including Consul in New York and Ambassador to Lebanon, Cyprus, Nicaragua, and currently France, Monaco, and Algeria. He holds a Doctorate in Diplomacy from the University of the Republic, Uruguay.

H.E. Hernando Alfonso Prada Gil, a legal scholar and former professor, served as Secretary-General of the Colombian Presidency and Minister of the Interior before being appointed Colombia’s Ambassador to France in 2023.

H.E. Monsignor Martin Krebs, who was ordained in 1983, has served in numerous Apostolic Nunciatures worldwide. He was consecrated as a bishop in 2008 and has been the Apostolic Nuncio in several countries, including Guinea, Mali, New Zealand, and Uruguay. He is now accredited in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco.

H.E. Guilhermina Prata, with advanced degrees in legal and political sciences, began her career as a high-ranking official and later served as Angola’s Minister of Justice. She was appointed Ambassador of Angola to France in 2023.
