The 75th Monaco Red Cross Gala will be held on the evening of Friday, July 19, at the Salle des Etoiles at Sporting Monte-Carlo, in the presence of HSH Prince Albert, President of the Monaco Red Cross, and HSH Princess Charlène, Vice-President. This distinguished event, which underscores the Monaco Red Cross’s daily commitment to aiding the most vulnerable since 1948.

The gala will feature a stellar dinner under the stars prepared by Thierry Saez Manzanares and the Sporting Monte-Carlo brigade, a prestigious raffle hosted by Tatiana Silva and Taïg Khris, and a special concert by Jamiroquai. Additionally, the event will include the presentation of ‘Ball Track (Dunant)’, a work by renowned Belgian artist Wim Delvoye, dedicated to the Monaco Red Cross.

The Monaco Red Cross founded on March 3, 1948, by Prince Louis II and recognised the same year by the International Red Cross Committee (ICRC) is one of the 191 national societies of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Adhering to its seven fundamental principles ‘humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality’ the Monaco Red Cross assists the most vulnerable without discrimination, saves lives, and prepares populations for disasters through national and international efforts.

Chaired successively by Prince Rainier III, Princess Grace, and Prince Albert since 1982, the organisation celebrated the Sovereign’s 40 years of leadership in December 2022. Donors will be welcomed at 20:00 to the Salle des Etoiles for an evening that combines elegance with philanthropy.

The night begins with a gourmet dinner crafted by Chef Thierry Saez Manzanares and the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer kitchen and sommelier teams. The gala will highlight 75 years of the Monaco Red Cross’s humanitarian efforts through a retrospective film.

The evening will proceed with a luxurious raffle offering six prestigious prizes from top luxury brands, accompanied by a traditional fireworks display over the sea. The raffle and fireworks will be presented by Belgian TV host Tatiana Silva and Greek-Algerian athlete Taïg Khris. The highlight of the night will be a performance by Jamiroquai, the pioneering ‘future funk’ band known for its global hits and record-breaking album sales.

Jamiroquai, formed in 1992 and hailed as the pioneer of ‘future funk’, will bring their dynamic performance to the Salle des Etoiles. The band, which has sold over 26 million albums worldwide and boasts seven British Top 10 albums, including three that reached No. 1, promises an unforgettable concert.

The gala will also feature the unveiling of ‘Ball Track (Dunant)’ by Belgian artist Wim Delvoye. Known for his humour and experimental style, Delvoye created this sculpture in honour of Henry Dunant, the founder of the Red Cross Movement, blending artisanal craftsmanship with advanced technology.
