Mr Jean-Philippe Vinci has been appointed Director of National Education, Youth and Sports, and will take up office on July 1.
After 13 years in charge of this important department, Ms Isabelle Bonnal will relinquish the reins during the summer break.
Mr Jean-Philippe Vinci is the holder of a Master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris where he was then recruited as a lecturer. He was appointed as a teacher at the Lycée Albert I in 1996. He has also held the position for three years of Project Manager at the Directorate of National Education, Youth and Sports as well as that its missions to UNESCO and the Council of Europe.
Mr Vinci is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Prince Pierre Foundation and the Management committee of the Princess Grace Theatre.
As she approaches the end of her mission, the Princely Government greets the investment and unfailing commitment Isabelle Bonnal has demonstrated throughout her career at the head of the department of National Education, Youth and Sports and thanks her for the initiatives that she has led in this strategic area.
