The Principality’s teddy bear auction, benefitting the Monaco Disease Power association has reached new heights in its second ever edition, as the sale of 21 bears sponsored by the Principality’s personalities and companies contributed to very nearly 40,000 euros raised in the name of charity.

Donning a bear outfit once again, Simon de Pury auctioned off the bears on Tuesday, May 14 in the Salle Empire of the Hôtel de Paris.

It was actually a bear sponsored by HSH Prince Albert that brought the auction so close to the 40,000 euro mark. The ‘Carabineer Bear’, also known as Fidéon was purchased by Kamyar Moghadam.
