The first auction of teddy bears benefitting the Monaco Disease Power association took place in the Principality on January 20, 2023. A small stretch of sidewalk in front of Monaco’s Marco Traverso flower shop had been somewhat magically transformed into an enchanted setting for a few hours, as bidders competed to claim one of 20 bears sponsored by Monegasque brands, all in the name of charity.

This successful inaugural teddy bear auction saw 23,600 euros be raised for Monaco Disease Power, which used those funds to finance the opening of a building for young adults. This year, the Patio of the Hôtel de Paris will be transformed into a fairytale place for the occasion of the Principality’s second ever teddy bear auction on Tuesday, May 14.

20 bears will again be sponsored by Monegasque brands, and a world famous auctioneer will once again don a bear suit that means business. Discover more on the Monaco Disease Power website here.
