The 11th edition of Vintage Car Rally organised by the ChildCARE Monaco Association is set for September 15 this year and the glamorous theme goes retro again to the “Rockabilly Style”.
Bring your own vintage car or let the ChildCARE team find a perfect match for you, your partner or your own team. Chauffeur option is also available upon request and subject to availability.
The annual event raises much-needed funds for ChildCARE’s own projects in Africa and India under the spirited leadership of Martine Ackermann.
Places are limited and booking is now officially open until July 30.
The day is organised under strict secrecy, the details – as always – will be revealed during the breakfast at the Café de Paris starting at 8:15. Departure is scheduled at 9:45 from the Casino Square and the end of the adventure will be celebrated with champagne and cocktails at the prize giving ceremony at the Castlerock Restaurant on the Rock. Winners will receive their trophies (and there will be many) from a Monegasque Personality.
Last year celebrated the biggest edition for the popular vintage rally, as businesses in Monaco signed up their whole teams.
“We had six cars and 18 people participating last year,” said Magali Jacquet-Lagreze from CFM Indosuez in Monaco. “This is so well organised and what is important is that while we are having fun we are also helping the children. My highlight from last year’s rally is meeting new people – in multicultural Monaco this is a great place and atmosphere to be sharing one goal with people from around the globe. And I also loved that everybody was dressed for the occasion!”
All proceeds go to ChildCARE Monaco’s school projects which have grown with every year of the Rally. “Education is an everlasting gift”, says President of the Association Martine Ackermann who also invites third parties taking part in this fun(d)raising. “Businesses, join us! Offer a prize for our raffle or contribute financially to support the rally and gain visibility for your logo in our roadbook!”
