Inclusive School Week 2024 marks the second edition of Inclusive School Week to promote living together and solidarity among students.

From January 15 to 24, 2024, the students of 78 classes in the Principality and the children of the Prince Albert II Leisure Centre (around 1,400 in total) are participating in thematic workshops on different types of motor, sensory and cognitive disabilities.

These activities are run by Monegasque and French associations, the services of the Directorate of Action and Social Assistance and those of the Princess Grace Hospital Centre.

The Directorate of National Education, Youth and Sports (DENJS) held the first edition of Inclusive School Week in January 2023.

The students of the Condamine school took part in workshops offered by partner associations of the DENJS and the CHPG on the subject of welcoming all children at school, whatever their particularities. Through this approach, the DENJS raises awareness at all class levels of the daily difficulties faced by students with disabilities, using age-appropriate approaches.

The DENJS wants to enable students to contribute, through a better understanding of disability and through appropriate behaviour, to a more inclusive school environment.
