Monaco’s Police Service will very soon move back into its headquarters building on rue Suffren Reymond in Condamine, which has been extensively remodelled and extended upwards by several floors.
It is expected that the annual New Year wishes ceremony and announcement of crime figures for the previous year will be held in the renewed facilities.
In the meantime, the temporary HQ on the forecourt of State Louis II will be put to new uses. According to Minister of State Pierre Dartout, other Government departments that need extra space will be housed there on a temporary basis, with longer-term plans still under consideration.
