Monaco’s Minister of the Interior has announced a new weapon in the fight against school bullying, a dedicated hotline for victims and an associated website.

During the school year 2022-2023, a total of 39 cases of bullying and violence were recorded in the Principality despite the fact that Monaco schools place considerable emphasis on fighting the problem.

Patrice Cellario said that he hoped that the dedicated number and the website would be in service when schools return in January, at at the very latest during the month. Help will also be available outside normal school hours, in association with a voluntary organisation, the Minister said.
