Monaco has made a voluntary contribution of 10,000 euros to support the Council of Europe Action Plan on Protecting Vulnerable Persons in the Context of Migration and Asylum in Europe 2021-2025.
The agreement was signed on December 12 by Ambassador Gabriel Revel, Permanent Representative of Monaco to the Council of Europe, and by Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.
The Council of Europe is the umbrella organisation for many European bodies, including Moneyval, the anti-money laundering entity with which Monaco has not always enjoyed the most easy relations.
