Long-term Monaco resident Dani Carew’s latest book Miss P. and her Dream is an illustrated bilingual French and English children’s book about the kitten who dreams of being part of a family, of being loved and of meeting her father. The book took several years to complete and was launched on Friday evening at the Metropole Hotel in a festive spirit of the Christmas season.
The main character is based on Dani’s cat Miss P., the Precious or Pretty kitten who was indeed an extra special cat that inspired Miss P. to be brave.
The story of hope carries the message of never giving up. “I wanted to tell the children that life is not always easy,” said Dani, “but it is important to not to give up on our dreams and face the challenges on the way. We should never give up.”
This is Dani’s first book for children but she has written five books already and they all deal with overcoming and triumphing over adversity.
