A fire broke out in an apartment building at 23 Rue des Martyrs de la Résistance in Beausoleil just before 11:00 on Friday, November 17.
A thick plume of smoke rose from a fierce fire on the first floor of the three storey building, resulting in the emergency evacuation of four individuals to the Princess Grace Hospital Centre by the Monaco Fire Service.
Eight vehicles were deployed in total, with 23 firefighters from Monaco and three from the Alpes-Maritimes Departement.
While the origin of the fire is not yet known, it was completely extinguished in just over an hour.
