A fun-packed and informational weekend in Monaco Ville starts with the Fête du Musée at the Oceanographic Museum on Saturday, September 23, from 10:00 until 19:00. This will be the fourth such event organised by the Association of Friends of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.

Sunday is the 28th in the series of European Heritage Days, and Monaco has much to offer. Rooted in centuries of history, the Principality boasts a remarkable cultural heritage reflected in its unique traditions, cuisine, performing arts, dance, and song, all handed down through the generations. Cultural stakeholders, professionals and non-profit organisations all play their part in conserving our heritage of today, and passing it on to future generations to become the heritage of tomorrow. During this annual event, they open their doors and invite us to discover their sites, showcasing Monaco’s rich and diverse heritage. Sunday, September 24, in the Principality of Monaco.

The Princess Grace Irish Library will be at the forefront of the day, starting at 09:30, and will welcome back the talented pupils from l’Académie Rainier III Consevatoire who will perform beautiful Irish music on the harp, harpischord, flute and violin. Three concerts will take place at: 11am, 2pm & 3pm (duration 20 minutes). No reservation necessary but space is limited. Guided visits of the library (only at scheduled times): 10:30, 11:45, 14:45 and 15:45 and last guided tour at 16:30. Duration 15 minutes

As part of the 28th edition of the European Heritage Days that will be held on Sunday September 24, the National Council will be opening its doors from 10:00 to 18:00. Many activities are on the programme, including guided tour of the building. At 10:00 the Monegasque anthem will be performed on the square and there will be rounds of singing in Monegasque in the hemicycle performed by the U Cantin d’A Roca choir. From 11:00 until 13:00: Barbajuans making workshop (with tasting); – At 11:15: Monegasque dances with the folk group “La Palladienne”; – At 15:15: Audition for the Little Singers of Monaco.
