HSH Prince Albert’s new Chief of Staff will be Christophe Steiner, who served as President of the National Council for two years and more recently occupied the important post of Monaco’s Ambassador to Paris.
He will take up his duties on September 4.
Prince Albert said: “”I am delighted with the appointment of Mr Christophe Steiner to the post of Director of my Cabinet, a man of great experience who has held the highest political responsibilities in his career… His in-depth knowledge of the public affairs and economic and financial issues will be a major asset in responding to the current challenges of our country”.
The position has been vacant since June 30, when Laurent Anselmi was removed from the post in the Dossiers du Rocher affair.
