Under the chairmanship of the Minister of State, the Coordination and Monitoring Committee working on the national strategy to combat money laundering, the financing of terrorism and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and corruption met again on Thursday, June 15, 2023.
On the agenda was an information point on the implementation of the national action plan for each strategic objective, the adoption of action plans specific to the authorities and services as well as the finalisation of the update of the risk assessment report of non-profit organisations (NGOs) and its adoption, the Government said on Friday.
“In accordance with its missions, this Committee plays a central role in the coordination mechanism and surveillance for any matter relating to the fight against money laundering, financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction which constitute a priority for the Principality,” the Government said.
