The Ballets de Monte-Carlo, the Prince’s Government and Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer have joined forces to orchestrate an exceptional event this summer, entirely dedicated to dance, where the public, artists and dancers will mingle throughout the Casino district, in particular on its famous square, which will be transformed into a unique dance floor.

Thought up by the Choreographer-Director of the Ballets de Monte-Carlo, Jean-Christophe Maillot, the F(ê)aites de la Danse concept aims to make spectators participants in the event and encourage them to dance, freely and for free.

The first edition was held in 2017 and on the strength of its success the event returns with a dazzling program, from July 8 at 18:00 until noon the next day.

Nearly 250 artists will take part in the dance event, making the moment unforgettable. Dance marathon, Guinguette, giant bar, initiation workshops to the dances of the world, flash mob, choreographic performance, open-air discotheque, orchestras, lounge dances, inclusive dance, detox morning! etc… will make this moment a great artistic and festive occasion, the organisers say.

Around the Place du Casino high-quality food will be available in the spirit of a great picnic, thought-out and coordinated by chef Philippe Joannes, director of culinary events at Monte-Carlo Catering within the Monte-Carlo SBM Group. Participants will be able to eat at any time during the event.
