The Coordination and Monitoring Committee of the national strategy for the fight against money laundering, the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction took place on March 23, the Government said on Tuesday, March 28, under the chairmanship of His Excellency Minister of State Pierre Dartout.
The purpose of the meeting was to finalise the National Action Plan, consisting of numerous concrete and operational measures to significantly strengthen existing procedures to address the threat of financial crime.
“Constructive exchanges also took place with a view to improving the system for freezing funds and economic resources. The Principality of Monaco reaffirms its total commitment to the implementation of the recommendations of the Moneyval Report, with the support of all public authorities and private sector professionals,” the Government said.
