Citing an international situation that is “changing with the speed of light,” the Monaco Economic Board and the Prince Albert II Foundation have jointly reached out to develop relations with Saudi Arabia, the MEB said on Thursday, February 2.

“All the ingredients are there to interest Monaco companies,” the statement said.

The Federation of Chambers of Commerce of Saudi Arabia, the Riyadh Chamber and the inward investment body Invest Saudi all welcomed MEB representatives as potential partners during a recent three-day visit to the kingdom.

A meeting was organised with the organisation developing the giant Neom project in north-west Saudi. The e-Prix of Riyadh was on the agenda, and a date was set for January 2024 for a fully-fledged economic mission from Monaco to Saudi Arabia.
