The annual charity Bal de la Rose took place on Friday, July 8, at the Salle des Etoiles. Artistic direction was by Christian Louboutin. The theme of the Ball was ‘The Roaring Twenties: The Return.’
Proceeds from the Ball go to the Princess Grace Foundation.
Fourteen thousand roses were part of the decor, together with 900 Napoleon III golden chairs, 1,000 vases and 1,700 linear metres of tablecloth.
Among the entertainers were Dita Von Teese, ‘the world’s biggest name in burlesque.’

Prizes in the Raffle included a necklace in 18 carat yellow gold, diamonds, two tourmalines and 10 malachites, offered by Chanel.
The summer show devoted to the well-known designer opens to the public at the Grimaldi Forum on Saturday, July 9.
