The International Fireworks Competition has been a mainstay of the summer months in Monaco for many years. However, due to environmental concerns, the four-part contest will no longer be held.
But that does not mean there will be no fireworks at all this year. The first on July 30 will be on Quai Albert-1er from 22:00 and will be followed by a DJ evening. The second will be on August 13, with a disco evening hosted by the group High Energy.
This year, the Square Gastaud will be a popular venue for musical entertainment. Every Wednesday evening from July 6, young and old will find an eclectic program. Eight evening concerts, including four for young audiences, will be held, lasting from 45 minutes to an hour.
For adults, jazz, soul or gospel groups will liven up the Square around 19:30 to end the day well.
For children, the summer carnival U Sciaratu will take place on July 8 on the theme of Africa. Parades of floats, parades, street strolls and musical troupes will come to animate the Rock.
