The Grand Prix may be over but that doesn’t mean that traffic will get back to normal anytime soon in Monaco.
Construction above ground on the Grand Ida housing project means that from June 1 until Wednesday, June 8, the portion of the east-west tunnel between the Auregia and Canton roundabouts will be partially closed from 09:00 until 16:00 each weekday.
However, the road will be open to traffic on Sunday, June 5 and Monday, June 6, “to preserve the rest and tranquility of residents,” the Government said.
On June 1, 2, 7, 8 and 13 the section of underground road between the two roundabouts will be closed in both directions between 21:00 and 06:00.
