Monaco’s Foreign Residents’ Club was the venue on Tuesday, March 22, for a talk by Dr Franco Gussalli Beretta, Chairman and CEO of the Beretta Group, the oldest firearms manufacturer in the world.
Dr Beretta and his bother Pietro represent the 15th generation in the family business which was founded in the 16th century. In his illustrated address Dr Beretta was able to provide a fascinating account of how the business that bears the family name has survived and flourished for more than 500 years.
His Excellency Laurent Stefanini, Ambassador of France to Monaco and Mr Robert Gelli, Director of Judicial Services in Monaco, were among the appreciative audience.
