Dans les forets de Siberie

William Mesguich makes us relive on stage the exceptional experience of the writer-adventurer Sylvain Tesson. Leaving the city and the crowds, he chooses to isolate himself in the middle of the forests of Siberia, where his only occupations are to fish for food and to cut wood for heating. He relearns the happiness of solitary reading and reflection. With poetry and humour he takes us into his cabin: “And if freedom consisted in having time? What if wealth came down to having solitude, space and silence, all of which future generations will lack?”

This performance, in French, will be followed by a meeting “at the edge of the stage” with William Mesguich.

The show will start on Thursday, 20:30 at the Princess Grace Theatre.
