One hundred and six Monaco residents tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday, January 18, while 110 were declared fully-recovered.
Of 39 people being treated for coronavirus at Princess Grace Hospital, 21 are residents. One of the residents is in intensive care.
The number of residents with mild symptoms recovering at home now stands at 284.
In France on Tuesday, 464,769 new infections were reported over the last 24-hour period, the highest ever-recorded tally since the start of the pandemic. Official figures show coronavirus deaths in hospital increased by 288. Meanwhile, in the UK cases continue to fall – 94,432 on Tuesday – but the daily death toll was an 11-month high, at 438.
