The Monaco Government reported last week that two-thirds of the population over the age of 12 have been given at least two doses of coronavirus vaccine. The exact figure, according to the Monaco Statistical Office, is 66.7 percent.

The figures indicate that more than 92 percent of residents age 75 or over have been double-jabbed. The figure is 77.9 percent in the 55 to 64 age group.

However, there has been a much slower take-up among younger people. The Government said that more than 50 percent have been jabbed in every eligible age group above 18.

The authorities have often repeated that the only solution to the pandemic is vaccination, which is free and voluntary in Monaco.

If you would like to take advantage of this third vaccination, contact the COVID-19 Call Centre on 92.05. 55.00. This call centre can be reached seven days a week from 08:00 to 20:00 or make a request online via the website vaccination-covid19.gouv.mc.
