Monaco’s benchmark infection rate per 100,000 population has jumped to 813.46 from 544.98 seven days earlier. The figures are a rolling average for seven days until Sunday, December 19.

The latest figure was based on more and 9,000 PCR and antigen tests.

On Monday, December 20, 17 new positive cases were reported in the Principality, while 30 residents were declared fully-recovered.

Nineteen patients are being treated for coronavirus at Princess Grace Hospital, six of them Monaco residents. Two residents are in intensive care.

Meanwhile, the number of residents with mild symptoms recovering at home has fallen to 230.
