On the occasion of the first anniversary of Baroness Elizabeth-Ann de Massy’s passing, the Monte-Carlo Country Club paid a special tribute to an exceptional president, who worked tirelessly to develop and promote the Monte-Carlo Country Club, the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters and the Monegasque Tennis Federation.
HSH Prince Albert attended the ceremony in honour of the person, “whose memory remains deeply ingrained in the legend of Monegasque tennis as well as in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her.”
The main entrance of the club now bears the Baroness’s name in gratitude, and the inauguration of this tribute was made all the more special with the installation of a plaque that had originally been unveiled during the 2021 Masters tournament in the presence of the Prince.
