As the tourist season dawns on Monaco in an unprecedented context this year, it is more clear than ever that digital services play a predominant role at all levels of the sector.
To make the ever evolving situation clearer, the Monegasque government organised an online event on June 1, in partnership with a selection of core Monegasque institutions. A replay of the event in English can be viewed below:
The webinar was held in the presence of the Inter-ministerial Delegate for Digital Transition, Frederic Genta, and Guy Antognelli, the Director of Tourism and Congress.
Speaking on the subject of optimising the tourism sector, Genta said that “Tourism, whether for business or leisure, is a strategic sector that is a priority for our action in the digital transition. By supporting and financing the acquisition of the right tools and skills, we are supporting the models of tomorrow for the sector.”
A core component in the Principality’s digital transition is the Extended Monaco platform, which offers a variety of tools and financial benefits through the ‘Blue Fund’ to Monegasque business and companies registered in Monaco.
