The annual Sainte-Dévote rugby tournament was set to take place on June 19 and 20, but has now been cancelled for the second consecutive year as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

A highly anticipated event on the Monegasque rugby calendar, the tournament is organised by the Monegasque Rugby Federation with the support of the Princess Charlene Foundation, and allows children to compete on the pitch of Stade Louis II.

The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation announced on Facebook that “Due to the current health situation, the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation is sorry to announce the cancellation of the 2021 Sainte Dévote Tournament initially scheduled for June. Nevertheless, we hope to be able to meet you next year for the 2022 edition!”
