This year on Tuesday, April 6, the United Nation’s International Day of Sport for Development and Peace was celebrated on social media through a digital campaign.
The main message is that of the role that sport plays in post-pandemic world, that team spirit that sport can bring out of all of us and the need to ensure that everyone is protected from COVID-19, so that we can return to the pitch or playing field together again.
On the occasion of the UN’s Day of Sport, Monaco based company Shibuya Productions revealed their new mobile game, ‘ActiVSeven Heptathlon’. This title simulates the Heptathlon sport, and will be available for free before the Tokyo Olympic Games this summer.
As ever, the Permanent Mission of the Principality of Monaco to the United Nations played an important part in the celebration of this day as well as in the preparation of the campaign, which reached a worldwide audience.
