The Principality was embraced in a ghostly fog on Thursday, as captured here by Richard McCreery. On the right, the Casino in Monte-Carlo.
Monaco was almost completely submerged in cloud due to a temperature inversion (cold air above warm air).
The forecast for the next few days is brighter, with temperatures through Sunday possible reaching 19, providing the fog stays away.
Sea Fog is formed by warm air over cold waiters normally over the Atlantic and gulf of

Hi Ian
I hope you are well, just for your info concerning the item on Monaco swathed in fog. The writer states that a temperature inversion is cold air above warm when it is actually the other way round-warm air above cold.
