Yannick Alléno, one of the most renowned chefs in the world, has been entrusted by Jean-Luc Biamonti, Deputy Chairman of Monte-Carlo SBM to deploy his culinary talents in the kitchen of the Vistamar Restaurant, the star gastronomic attraction of the Hermitage Hotel.

The arrival of the multi-starred chef to the Principality is set for April 2021, and will surely pique the interest of any discerning lover of fine cuisine throughout the Riviera. Alongside the addition of Alléno to an already accomplished line-up of culinary professionals, Monte-Carlo SBM will deploy a new menu, which will be accompanied by the redevelopment of the restaurant’s famous terrace.

Spring 2022 will witness an overhaul of the restaurant’s interior architecture, another project that testifies to the Monte-Carlo SBM Group’s desire to move forward and continue to surprise. The general manager of the Hermitage expressed his approval: “With chef Jean-Philippe Borro and our catering teams, we are delighted to welcome Yannick Alléno. The talent and visionary approach of this multi-starred chef, combined with our history and our know-how, promise great moments to our discerning local and international clients.”

On the occasion of this announcement, Alléno said “I thank the SBM for its trust and I am very honored to join the teams of this emblematic place in the heart of the Principality,” before adding that “for (him) Monaco is a destination with a real culinary life, a varied and plural city, it is an extraordinarily pleasing spot where excellence is the order of the day.”
