Thirty-one residents have tested positive for coronavirus over a 24-hour period, the Government announced on Tuesday evening.

Thirty-two residents are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital, four in intensive care. In addition, a further 34 patients from the hospital’s wider catchment area are also receiving in-patient care.

Twenty residents were reported to have fully recovered over the period, and 160 residents with mild symptoms are recovering at home under the supervision of the Home Monitoring Centre.

Meanwhile, in the UK 20,089 new cases and 1,631 new deaths were reported, taking the total death toll to 100,162. In France the daily figures were 22,086 new cases and 417 new deaths.
