Monaco’s education authorities on Tuesday closed a second class in the kindergarten section of the Stella School after another child tested positive for coronavirus following the detection of a positive case on Monday.
All children in the class have been sent home until next Tuesday, January 26, as a precautionary measure.
Parents have been asked to be on the lookout for symptoms in their own children.
Staff who have been in contact with the child will be tested for coronavirus.
The school remains open for children in other classes.
